It was a fun night.  Some music students played their instruments, a local church brought their bell choir and played the bells, the ballroom dance team (and my friend Smoot Carter) danced on the steps of the memorial tower and then “Santa” told a good ‘ole cajun Christmas story with Mike the Tiger and the cheerleaders gathered around little children.

Clear Skies...

So, with 10 days left until Christmas, I went to lunch in flip-flops, shorts and a t-shirt. It is suppose to be winter, but where did winter run off to? It’s certainly not in Baton Rouge!
