Day 3 in Martha’s Vineyard started out with a ferry ride on the HiLine Ferry that took an hour. I met a very nice gentleman who lives on Martha’s Vineyard in Edgartown who told us the best places to eat as well as a place called Pepe’s in New Haven that we should visit.
The day was great, we visited most of the island and had a nice lunch at the Seafood Shanty in Edgartown before going to the ‘Black Dog’ to buy some t-shirts. Undoubtably, the black dog is recognized world wide. So I will wear this shirt whenever I travel the world. heh.
After meeting another nice native of Martha’s Vineyard, this time on the local bus, we were able to find directions to a the restaurant mentioned above for lunch where we ran into a family from Mandeville, LA. After visiting with them, we walked down the block to Murdick’s for some fudge.
It is amazing but most of the buildings, houses, etc. do not have air conditions here. After finishing up our visit to Martha’s Vineyard, we headed back to Hyannis where we drove to see the Kennedy compound. Unfortunately, none of the Kennedy’s were home so they were unable to invite us in for tea, but maybe next time.
Tomorrow, we will visit New Port, RI and stay the day and night. Then we will wake and drive to New Haven, Conn. on Saturday to visit Yale.

The Boston Trip – Day 1 pictures. Most of these pictures are taken in Plymouth, Massachussetts. We are staying here tonight before heading to Cape Cod tomorrow. I will not have pictures of Boston until we stay there for a few days on the way back before we fly back to Louisiana.Decent photos taken with a D70 and a broken LCD screen.
NOTE: if you would like a copy of any of the above photographs please use the contact page and let me know which photos you would like.
Update (Los Cabos, Mexico – Sunday March 5th @ 9:30 p.m.) : Last night we ate a spectacular dinner out on the “whale-watching” deck and after dining, a “fire-dancer” entertained everyone by swinging a variety of torches.
Update (Los Cabos, Mexico – Friday March 3rd @ 5:30 p.m.) : Ok, so I found about 15 pictures that I had placed aside to post on here but I forgot about them. Now they are posted. I started out trying to post these in chronological order, but the more pictures I take the harder that becomes, so these are in completely random order.
Update (Los Cabos, Mexico – Friday March 3rd @ 4:05 p.m.) : Posting many more photos. No time for talking.
Update (Los Cabos, Mexico – Thursday March 2nd @ 12:20 p.m.) : Trip to Los Cabos, Mexico. More pictures coming. My internet isn’t working quite as well as at home. Done with the computer, going to the pool.
Whether you actually meant to stop by the site or you randomly and haphazardly stumbled here while surfing the web, I hope that the site can be of some value to you today.
First let me explain a few things. First, this is my blog (Paul Dietzel II). The site was created sometime in 2002 but has undergone many changes from name-changes to design-changes. Over the years, the site has morphed from a general blog to a photoblog to a business website back to a photoblog and now to a multi-purpose photo, video and thought driven site. I post my thoughts, my photos, my videos and snapshots of projects on which I am currently working.
This is my personal site, so if you are interested in any of the services offered by my company, please visit 210Corp.com.
You will also notice that I use twitter and facebook among other social networking sites. Please feel free to connect with me. If you have suggestions or comments, please also feel free to leave them for me on the site.
Thanks,

Paul Dietzel II
