About Paul and Shelby
Paul and Shelby — servants of Jesus Christ, husband and wife, parents of five (with another on the way), and witnesses of the living God.
Our story is simple: Jesus found us, shaped us, corrected us, healed us, and continues to lead us. Everything we are and everything we build belongs to Him.
We believe the words of Scripture:
- “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).
- “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain” (Ps. 127:1).
- “Two shall become one flesh” (Gen. 2:24).
Our marriage began in 2017 after the Lord led us together in a way only He could orchestrate. From the moment we said yes, God began shaping our home through Scripture, prayer, repentance, dreams, and the daily sanctification of raising children. Being married, being parents, and walking with Christ have been the Lord’s tools to refine us.
We homeschool, we pursue holiness, and we order our lives around the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
Our purpose is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30).
Our call is to unite believers and strengthen the Body of Christ according to the prayer of Jesus: “That they may all be one” (John 17:21).
We long to see followers of Jesus walk in the fullness of faith, purity, and devotion — not divided or fractured, but restored as one Body, under one Lord, filled by one Spirit.
This website holds our letters — reflections on our faith, marriage, family, failures, repentance, and the ways Jesus continues to lead us. Our only aim is to honor the Name we bear.
